When I was a kid it would have been New Kids on the Block. Now I can’t imagine bein a groupie for a band or a singer.

nope – not for me. Have tons of friends in bands – and the groupies? They get no respect – mostly because they don’t deserve it. Go on tour with a band? Aerosmith – those guys are funny and witty and really sweet – especially sober.

I used to sorta stalk backstage entrances and get autographs, but now I go for smaller venues where I can actually meet and talk to the singers. Robert Earl Keen, Last Train Home, Eric Brace and Peter Cooper…not into rock anymore

I’ve always wanted to be a groupie for “The Police,” because I thought they would have great discussions about philosophy, art and music. But, I’m sure their antics with groupies were just as raunchy as any other band. My guiltiest pleasures, as a groupie, would be, to tour with Metallica or Prince.
Though I feel I am a little to old to be a groupie I am a devoted fan of Art of Dying. Of course if the Sinners were a real band I would be all over that. LOL
